In the post-pandemic world, India is most likely to emerge as the reskilling hub for the world. Tiger Tyagarajan, CEO- Genpact shares that 80% of companies are facing the challenge of reskilling but with systems & processes in place and frameworks & technologies working in tandem, this can be overcome.
NASSCOM, in collaboration with Indian IT firms, has reskilled over a third of its 4.5 million-strong workforce in 2020. The government has introduced national programs to upskill professionals in manufacturing, services, digital marketing and supply chain, helping them stay relevant in their industry.
